As Cyrano de Bergerac in the latest installment of PBS's Great Performances, Kevin Kline's work is, exactly as advertised, a great performance. And, even if it sometimes feels here as if you're watching it through a tiny window, it's one absolutely not to miss.

Compared with something like Momma's Boys on NBC, The Real World seems as if it had been incubated at PBS.

  • Ray Richmond,

If you don't love FX's Damages, you may well be in a coma -- or at least in the throes of some sort of brain rot. Forget everything I ever wrote about Mad Men. This is the best drama series on television.
