All week we're letting you vote on what you hear on the radio each morning as you head to work. Our morning radio showdown is still going strong. There are 8 contenders, all across the dial on both AM and FM.
Chris and Amanda on B105 are challenging their fans to prove that country people are computer savvy. And, they even tried to reel in a "celebrity" endorsement.
"Why vote for the B105 morning show? Because we're non-biased. We don't show any favoritism. No. Ask our friend Bob Herzog. You know whether I'm at home, at work, or in the car I depend on the B105 morning show to entertain me and they're very non-biased. Right Amanda? Why that's right. Jeff and Jenn are the team each morning on Q102. From rock tunes to celebrity news, they invite you to join their "Q-mmunity". Not wanting to sound too boastful about being the best morning radio show, they decided to let their listeners make their pitch for them.
"Jeff: Give us some reasons that we can give Local 12 as to why we're the best morning show in the Tri-State. Jen: "Because we're very modest people. We don't like to brag on ourselves. We don't like to yank our own chain. So, we could use some help in this area." Caller #1: "I think Q102 is the best morning show because they brought Seton high school David Archuleta!" Caller #2: "I think you're the best because you involve the community in almost every aspect of what your show." Caller #3: "Because you make dreams come true." Jeff: "I think we'll call this Jeff & Jen's why are we great segment."
