Very few times does a team lose two games during theregular season, and then get the chance to avenge those losses in the playoffs.
However, that is the exact scenario the AndersonRedskins face.
The Redskins were able to get revenge for theirregular season loss to Winton Woods this past week in the state quarterfinals, when they beat the Warriors 24-21.
Now they face Columbus Desales, in the Ohio StateSemi-finals, a team that beat them 38-17 earlier in the season at Anderson.
The Redskins are trying to win their second straightState Title, but have a tall task in beating Desales.
The Stallions rely on their stellar ground-attack,which is led by running back Josh Kusan. Kusan ran for 211 yards and threetouchdowns last week in their regional title win over Louisville.
In order, for the Redskins to have a chance theywill have to continue playing great defense against the run, as they did lastweek against Winton Woods.
It is worth noting that the last time these twoteams met up in the regular season, Anderson was missing starting quarterbackand leader Daniel Rod. Rod will play Friday, and could be the difference inthis game.
Look for the Redskins to use their balancedoffensive attack to try to keep the Stallions guessing on defense.
The game is slated for a 7:30 PM kickoff Friday night from Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.
