I'm Headed to Beechwood at NewCath Tonight

That's right tonight is one of those games where you just have to see if you really like high school football. These two teams were huge rivals back when they were in 1A together, because it decided who got the #1 seed in the playoffs and then sometimes who was going to be state champs. The rivalry has lost some of the importance because it's not a district game anymore, but I don't think it's lost its appeal as one of the best games to watch. This year is no exception. Both teams are very talented and the best in their respective class.  So here's what you need to know as far as coverage goes...

Game: Beechwood visits NewCath at Newport
Kickoff:  7:00

My Prediction: Beechwood 24 NewCath 21... This is a tough game to call, but I'm going to go with beechwood. They should have the speed and size on D to contain Mark Kelly and their secondary does a nice job as well. NewCath does have the advantage in the passing game though, so look for that to play a factor.
