Just where Is Micronesia, anyway?
Micronesia is actually a subregion of Oceania comprised of hundreds of small islands in the Pacific Ocean.
The Philippines lie to the northwest, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Melanesia to the west and southwest, and Polynesia to the east.

You got all that? Well, here, maybe this map will help:

Now, if that's starting to look or sound maybe just a little familiar, it should. This is Survivor's second trip to this part of the world. The show first visited there with Survivor: Palau in 2005.

Despite the retun trip to this exotic corner of the world, you can push aside any fears of an old fan favorite coming to play with an unfair homefield advantage. No fan favorites from Survivor: Palau are competing in the game this season.
